Help with a basic project (LED)

The objective is to light a bulb using a 9V battery as power source and a button. When the button is pressed, the bulb light and a message is showed telling that the circuit is ON. I tried but I couldn't accomplish the second part (the message).

Thank You.

Where is the message to be shown?

The button is being pressed.

You didn't understand the question - Where are you expecting to read the message? You said LED, did you mean LCD?

Can you post a schematic and your sketch? There's no way anyone can help you if we don't know what hardware you are using and how it's wired-up, and without seeing your code.

Before you worry about pushing a button, can you display a message under program control with no user interaction?

Can you make the light bulb turn-on under program control?

(The pushbutton is the "easy" part.)

Be aware that an AVR I/O pin may not be able to provide enough current to light a light bulb.

Hi Rafael094,
Sorry but your question makes no sense at all! Why because WE do not know what button or LED you are refering to, or how they are connected to the arduino, as we don't have your circuit in front of us, or your code, so we can't help you until you give us the info we need to help you...

We're here to help, so please try again.

Regards

Mel.
