Hi there and thanks for the help in advance:

I need a code that when a motion sensor detects something it prints "Motion detected" in the serial monitor. I know is simple, but Im having issues with these. I have a code done, but it dont print nothing in the monitor. I dont know if i asked for the help in the right place. Thanks.

If you are looking for help with code you have already written, then you want the Programming Questions section. You'll want to actually post your code in that section, though.

In that case, you'll want to provide more details on the project such as timeline and what you're offering in terms of compensation.

OK so can you answer a few questions first

  • What Arduino platform are you using
  • What motion sensor are you using
  • What baud do you want the serial monitor to send data at

This is only a few lines of code once we have the required information.
