Hi everybody:Im trying to develop a project but I'm at the Initial Phase. The concept from the project is that i want to create some kind of security device using Xbees for wireless comunication, and Wireless IP Camera that is going to take a snap-shot from the person that goes inside the room and a motion sensor that detects motion inside the room. I dont know if I need to use an arduino for this. I really would appreciate any help with this. Thanks.
I'm not aware of an IP solution over XBee, although I suppose there might be one. In any case, a wireless IP camera would presumably be using TCP/IP over WiFi. Running a motion detection application on a PC connected via WiFi is such an obvious solution that it's really not worth considering any other approaches. But if you want some electro/mechanical system in the room to be triggered as a result, that's when your Arduino might enter the solution.
