Help with Accelerometer Based Project.

Hi.

I have a University deadline coming in a few days and I'm at a rut wit my project.

I want to create an LCD tablet with a video player that reacts to the tilt controls of my accelerometer.

I have created animations exported them as videos, all that is left is to create the hardware to put the videos on.

I have.

  • Acclerometer
-TFT LCD display with microSD card breakout
    -Raspberry Pi to store videos
    -Arduino

I am stumped at where to get a video player that interacts with tilt controls, and have no idea where to go from here.

I am an art/animation student first and foremost and have literally only a good two months of experience in this field.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you so much, I'm beginning to get a better idea of how to get it to work.

So I store the videos on Pi, (with Accl wired in).
How would I call for a specific video based on the direction the device was tilted with pi?

I am slow and new to this (terrible combination I know) so I'm asking a lot of questions.

Late start.

@jremington I have already started half the project months ago was working on the animations, which I have done.

The final stretch would be to creating the hardware.

@Spy I initially thought Arduino was the main way I would get the Acclerometer to work with Video. As my first post indicates

You trimmed the fat a little for me which I am grateful for, I just have even less experience in Pi than Ardunio, as my course only covered the latter.

It would be very much appreciated if you could walk me through. If not , it's all good.
