Haha sorry for that Nick I had just corrected the error and seen the post to my other topic and thought it to be better to not litter the board with un-needed topics 
whenever an object/person interrupts the beam the receiver then gives a constant stream of 0s.
So if the person takes longer than 500mS to pass the beam you will get more counts. If they stop for a chat you may get 100s

@Gray Oh I think I'm about ready to reach for the cyanide pill, what a simple solution, if I just increase the delay to 2500 or so it won't increment.. silly me lol
Thanks a bunch for the help, now I have to mount this in a frame and go get people to put their fingers in a hole to get an electric shock and get counted haha
