Help with battery connector for lipo

Hey I ordered this battery which came with the in built connectors. And the board I’m using came with the left connector. Now the thing is battery connector is big to connect it to the board. How should I connect the battery to the board now? Thanks

These connectors are called JST connectors and as you have found out, they come in different sizes.
The wires are crimped on and if you use these connectors a lot, it's worth buying the crimp housings, some male and female terminals and a crimping tool.
You need to measure the spacing of the terminals and look up JST sizing to see what you have.
It's best not to try and change the board connector and it's a lot easier to either change the battery connector, or better still, make up an adaptor using crimps or adapting readymade leads to go from small to large and vice versa.

What if I insert the the ends of the left connector into those holes of the battery connector and wrap them in electrical tape?

I want to connect the battery connector to the ends of the connector on the left. If insert the open ends of the left side connector and tape them.. will that work? Those connectors u posted are not available for me purchase in short period of time.

I would not tape them but hey, it's your project, and you want to move forward.

Get the polarity right and it will work. For a while maybe longer if it does.

But you are messing with a powerful lipo cell eager to dispense its considerable stored energy through any path you provide… you do not want to short circuit this cell, or hook it up backwards or or or.

Please be extreme careful. Do not mess with taping wires or other shirt cuts.

Get the correct connector like in #4 above OR choose and use a jack and plug that match, can handle the current and offer no opportunity for a short circuit while connecting or disconnecting.

How are you charging this cell? How does this cell involved with your project? It bears repeating: lipos must be treated with respect at all times.

return the battery and get one with proper one, then check the connector polarity. If you find it reversed, which is not uncommon, you can swap it like in this video Connecting Li-Po battery to Arduino board, check correct polarity! - YouTube

Hey I want to connect the battery to TTGO TCALL module. It has a battery slot and came with the connector on the left right of the pic I posted. I'm using 3.7v battery to power it.

Be careful not to short the red and black wire. These batteries can dump a lot of current when shorted

You have had quite a lot of advice and help, but other than more questions, you don't seem to have heeded any of it.
If you took an hour out and did some research on JST connectors, you might learn something.
One of which is they come in different sizes and genders.
Then you wouldn't make the mistake of getting the wrong size.
Your solutions seem to be poking ends of wire in places and taping them up.
One bit of advice is not to try swapping terminals in housings because different size terminals don't fit different sized housings, and once inserted, they should be considered as single use.
You can get terminals out of housings, but to do it, you destroy the delicate system of barbs and it's easy to get them in the wrong way round so they can pull out and short circuit.
Another bit of advice is that the power side of any connector is the female connector and the powered side is the male terminal.
Get any of this stuff wrong and you could be looking at a lot of damage and expense.

Looking at your last post before you deleted it, you have a college project on a tight schedule.
Part of any project is planning from start to finish.
You can't just order a board and a battery and hope they fit together.
FWIW, the connector on your board is 1.25 mm pitch.
These connectors are sized for the battery in use.
I have a 350-mA Lipo with the small connector, and a 2000-mA Lipo with a 2.5(4) mm pitch connector.
Personally I wouldn't risk making any sort of board power connection without the proper connectors - 1.25 mm pitch is too risky for uninsulated terminals or wires.
I also had a look at the pinout of your board to see if there was battery pin on the headers, but could not find one.
Having said all that, it does look like quite an interesting and complex project, so good luck with that.
