Hello guys, i have a bmw e60 cluster and i really want to use it like cluster for a games in simhub and build my own simrig. But i dont really understand in coding and how to connect it with arduino and can bus shild or somehow else, i had an idea with wiring it to obd2 but i thinks it wont work. Can someone pls help me to connect it and help with code? I really want to use it but dont know how. Hope someone help, thanks.
Put that idea on the shelf and start playing with controllers, and get experience of them, and CAN bus matters. No one can "help" You create and make that project.

You have to do some research to find the connections and codes ( PIDs) it responds too - is it can bus or Lin bus for example ?
Have a look at can bus cards and the examples provided with libraries .
