Help with changing code to run an LED strip instead of a single LED

I am trying to alter some code from an app called ArduDroid. What the app does now is turns a certain pin on or off. I’m trying to alter the code so that when I select a pin, instead of sending a “High” to turn on a single LED, I want the program to run a certain loop. I guess the program was designed to turn on single LEDs, but I have a WS2812 addressable LED strip hooked up to one of the pins. That is why I need it to run the code for the loop when I send a High signal from my android.

Here is the part of the code I think I need to alter.

// 2) GET digitalWrite DATA FROM ARDUDROID
  if (ard_command == CMD_DIGITALWRITE){
    if (pin_value == PIN_LOW) pin_value = LOW;
    else if (pin_value == PIN_HIGH) pin_value = HIGH;
    else return; // error in pin value. return.
    set_digitalwrite( pin_num,  pin_value);  // Uncomment this function if you wish to use
    return;  // return from start of loop()

Instead of just sending a High I want it to run this code

#include "FastLED.h"

#define NUM_LEDS 30
#define DATA_PIN 4
//#define CLOCK_PIN 2

CRGB leds[NUM_LEDS];

void setup()
  {
    FastLED.addLeds<WS2812B, DATA_PIN, GRB>(leds, NUM_LEDS);
  }

void loop()
  {
    static uint8_t hue = 0;
    for (int px = NUM_LEDS - 1; px > 0; px--)
      {
        leds[px] = leds[px - 1];
      }
    leds[0] = CHSV(hue++, 255, 255);
    FastLED.show();
    delay(10);
  }

And this is the complete code for arduDroid

Thank you

Actually, maybe this is the code I need to alter, but the complete code is listed above. I'm still trying with no luck.

// 2a) select the requested pin# for DigitalWrite action
void set_digitalwrite(int pin_num, int pin_value)
{
  switch (pin_num) {
  case 13:
    pinMode(13, OUTPUT);
    digitalWrite(13, pin_value);
    // add your code here
    break;
  case 12:
    pinMode(12, OUTPUT);
    digitalWrite(12, pin_value);
    // add your code here
    break;

Does anybody have any idea how to do this? Or is it even possible?

I've been trying with no luck. I'm not very good at programming
