Help with EEPROM read, where's the print out?

In the following code, which prints to the computer, where will the print out be shown? The serial monitor?

The code**:"Serial.print"** . Does this always indicate print to a PC, or is it used for other devices, such as an LCD?

I haven't tried this yet, but I wanted to know a little more about the print out process.

EEPROM Read

where will the print out be shown? The serial monitor?

Yes, the output from Serial.print will show up in the serial monitor.

Does this always indicate print to a PC

It always prints to the Arduino's serial port, and this is usually connected to the host PC. But not always! You can disconnect the Arduino from the PC and connect it to something else.

is it used for other devices, such as an LCD

For things like LCDs, with either 8-bit or 4-bit parallel interfaces, you would create an 'lcd' object, and then use 'lcd.print (...);' or something similar. Other output devices may be supported in a similar way, with a named object representing the device, and member functions such as 'print' or 'clear' to do those specific tasks.

I did try it out, and the read-out did appear in the serial monitor.
