it would help you to get answers if your subject line showed what you want to talk about.
it appears that when you connect the uno to your computer, you do get COM-10 or COM-1
the simple answer it that if you can program the aurduino, then that works. use the one that works.
first find the channel that works to program the arduino.
then with the data logging software, use the same channel.
if you need help with the graphing, please give more details of what you are using
