Hello All,
I had a few questions about this GPS. I am trying to use this in a project to tell a robot where to move to. I am attempting to hook this up.

So question 1 :
It comes with a molex cable. I want to plug this directly into the arduino. Can i cut the cable and solder some wires onto it to use? I also noticed on the bottom side of the GPS are 5 metal contacts. Am I suppose to solder directly to those? These contacts can be seen on the picture on the product site.
Question 2:
On the site it says the product is loaded with their firmware that can only be sued with their one module. It also says it is usable with arduino at some point. Do I have to update the firmware on the GPS? It is not very clear to me.
I plan on using TinyGPS library to decode the GPS data. Any tips on using this library would be nice too but I am sure I can figure that part out.
