i was trying to display a “hello world” on a lcd screen using an Arduino nano and the help of chatgpt.
but i think i fried my Arduino, let me explain
i was connecting everything following chatgpt's instructions, he said i have to connect 2 wires to the 5v pin and gnd idk how to do it so i start looking around and find 2 alligator wires and try to connect the 5v and gnd i need directly from the vss and vdd pins of the display, but suddenly something starts to smell weird so i disconnect everything as fast as i can, but now i try to connect the Arduino nano to my PC and the ide does not recognize it and i need that Arduino because it is for an academic project
hello there, yeah i realize in the moment i fry the Arduino jejej anyway can you please recommend me some resources or where can i find things like data sheets or things like that i am new in this world of Arduino
With all the information you can read on the internet about Arduino and displays of all kinds, you take the easy way out and turn to AI.
Then, when the mess is done, you turn to HI (human intelligence).
Why don't you ask AI what you did wrong?
Haha
Rule 1, for your new Arduino. DO NOT mess with connecting/disconnecting when the power is on. Until you have a few years experience, that's just a stupid recipe for stupid disaster, and more stupid money spent.
