Thanks avr_fred, especially for such a quick response!
The load is AC, in which I've experienced problems with turn-off of inductive loads such as motors with zero-crossing SSRs, before when I understood nothing about it. But did not even consider the use of the dual mosfets making that into a non-concern - great to know.
