I am working on a big costume project and i could really use some help getting this working.
I have built a big robot costume and I wanted to add some electronics, eyes and a voice changer. I have been following the Electronic demon tutorial at adafruit Hello! | Electronic Demon Costume | Adafruit Learning System and i have the voice changer fully operational.
But I want to make some changes, I do not want an animated face. Only a bar of lights for the mouth that react (Blink on and off) to my voice.
So i bought an 8 led neopixel stick NeoPixel Stick - 8 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers : ID 1426 : $5.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits to be the bar of lights. But i can't figure out the code or reverse engineer the supplied code from the tutorial.
any help would be greatly appreciated
supplied code from adafruit for the animated eyes (which i don't need) and the moving mouth, which i only want a bar to blink.
