Help with Wiring a wokwi ESP32 Ferris Wheel Project in Real Life

I’m working on a Ferris wheel project using an ESP32, buttons, and a stepper motor. Thanks to this forum, I’ve successfully created a simulation in Wokwi (link to project) that works exactly as I want. Now, it’s time to bring the project to life, and I have a few questions:

  1. Background Info:
  • I’m new to building circuits.
  • I can’t solder in my current living situation.
  • English is my second language, so please bear with me if my explanations aren’t perfect.
  1. Wiring Without Soldering:
    Can I use female-to-female connectors to wire everything directly to the ESP32 GPIO pins? For example, connecting buttons and a stepper motor driver this way. Or would it be better to use a breadboard or an expansion board like this one: link? What’s the best method for wiring everything securely and reliably without soldering?
  2. Choosing Quality Components:
    I’ve had issues with unreliable Chinese kits where breadboards and wires only work sporadically. Can you recommend a good brand or type of wires and breadboards that are reliable for a project like this?
  3. Power Supply Connections:
    My power supply has a barrel connector, and I need to connect it to several GND and 5V points. My current setup uses a breadboard power module (link to example), but the breadboard is faulty and blocks access to some GPIO pins. What’s the best way to distribute power (5V and GND) across my components without relying on a breadboard?

A collection of various lengths and end connectors can work. I usually start that way before building a permanent device. You can use the terminal board for the ESP32 or a breadboard but the breadboard has to e the right width.

Your power module is all that is needed, it distributes either 5V or 3.3V to the breadboard power rails. I use that all the time.
I don't know what you mean by

You only have 1 power and 1 Gnd on a board, if you don't use a breadboard or a screw type module like you posted, what do you plan to do, hold it in your hand?

Thanks for the answer and when i plug my esp32 to my breadboard only leave 1 row of pins available because the board is too wide that cover the rest of the board at least was 1 row each side be happy but leave only 1 row on 1 side.
And in the wider board do you post it how i can connect a barrel connector to them i saw the terminals the screw ones and i dont now if exist a female barrel conector with a cable to attach to the conectors in the breadboar or how can i add a barrel conector
