Help with WTV020-SD mp3 module.

Hi there guys and galls.
I feel like a bit of an idiot asking this question.
I have bought a couple of the mp3 modules, WTV020-SD. I would love to have a play with them and see if I can get some sounds into some of my projects, but.
I can't seem to get the sd card into the slot. I am trying to insert it with the contacts down, because that just makes sense but the card won't go all the way in . It seem to stop about 3mm from "home"
Has anyone else had this problem?
Please help, I don't want to have to use a hammer. But I will if needed. 8)
Cheers, Adam

i tested that WTV020-SD mp3 module and i found very hard to control with arduino because doesn't support serial commands
also the sound quality is very low and has problems to recognize some kind of microsd cards.

save your time, i suggest you the far better WT5001M02-28P

The little metal case slides backwards (with a "click") then lifts up to put the card in.

That will be a power supply problem. SD cards need 3.6V.

SD-cards run at 3.3V, so just supply the module from the 3.3V-pin on Arduino.

But yes, the module is not easy to use.
