Ist unit was working with the default program scanning for networks. When I tried to download a simple blank sketch to see the communication with the IDE and board, it failed.

A fatal error occurred: Failed to connect to ESP32: Timed out waiting for packet header
I have tried google and forums and can't find anything that works.
SO i purchased a 2nd Heltec ESP32 Wifi and it works. I can download sketches.
I believe I may have done something wrong to the first unit. I was wondering if there is a way I can get a HARD reset on the until and try to get communications going again.
I would like to see if I did something before I completed of the correct setups or make a mistake with installing s/w.
SO is there a way to perform a HARD reset on the Heltec ESP32 Wifi board?
