Hi, First image from the James Webb Telescope:

A new age for astronomy.

The star to the left of the large white one in the yellow galaxy looks like there are inhabited planets circling it.

Hi,
Above and to the right of the large star is a galaxy that the image looks like is being distorted by the gravity of another star.

Are the colors due to red shift?

Thanks!  The stupefying thing is most of those points of light are galaxies which in turn hold within them untold numbers of stars.

Billions and billions as Carl Sagan would put it. His Cosmos really jump started my interest in astronomy.
