Hi there,
I'm working on a project that's going to be moving off-grid but the Arduino needs to have a stable connection to the server to transmit low-res video when cellular connection is lost. I've calculated that I would need around a connection around 80 Kb/s. I've found some satellite modules online such as the Rockblock Iridium module but it's a short burst data device that can only send a few bytes at a time. Any suggestions on satellite shields or other options on how to solve this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Nothing like that for hobbyists, that I know of. Overview of commercial satellite services.
Starlink is not expensive, but roving terminals are available only in limited areas.
All satellite connections fail when the ground antenna points to the sun as well as the satellite. So you may need a second satellite if that is a problem.
