Not wishing to hijack the thread, But I just had to ask...
How, exactly, would you xmit a mili-bit, much less eight of them?

You transmit a mega bit per second, but just a billion times slower.

That would require transmission completely outside the narrow portion of frequencies allowed for such devices.
