Hello, I'm just looking to find a switch suitable for a 36volt 30 amp load that I can control using an arduino. I know that there are relays I can use with an Arduino, however I noticed that most of them are only go up to about 5 volts. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Depends what you're switching but in most cases I'd normally use a logic level MOSFET. With one of those 36V 30A will be no problem.

I noticed that most of them are only go up to about 5 volts.
The relay contact voltage is not the same as the relay coil voltage.
However, I too would go with the MOSFET. Relays don't last long, switching DC.
I’d switch also via an opto isolator too, to keep the 30v away from the Arduino , helps with noise suppression too
AC or DC load? It really matters, DC is much harder to switch (off) than AC.
