Hi,For a project, I have to find the position of a finger on a line. Like a touchscreen but on only one dimension.
If the operating environment isn't a problem .... then could get something like a touch screen and ignore readings on one of the dimensions.
What kind of operating environment? Is it a fixed robust hard/solid panel platform? Or a string/wire tensioned in air between two nodes ... etc.
