I'm no good with my hands and would love to propose to my girlfriend with a simple proposal box either with a puzzle or with some sort of key (like two parts of a love heart or something) if your interested to make this for me please message me at thomasgardener11@gmail.com I do live in England UK but am willing to pay.
I made a Heath-Robinson bubble blowing machine for a friend's wedding present. Including knotted string.
that sort of thing?
regards
Allan
ps Unless you make it yourself, does it mean that much? given you say you're no good with your hands - your prospective wife must know this - anything you did make would be appreciated much more than somebody else's gadget, however much it cost....
You should post this in the Gigs & Collaborations section.
This is the time to be yourself. When she asks who made the box, you will know what a bad idea this is.
Is there an Arduino involved?
Seriously though, go and buy a box if you can't make one yourself. If you shop around a little, I'm sure you can find something that suites your needs, being it square, round or in the shape of a heart.
You can also buy a box of chocolate in the shape of a heart and paint it (and while you're waiting for the paint to day you can eat the chocolate but leave some for your future wife )
Write (or print) your proposal on a piece of (coloured) paper, glue it on a piece of cardboard, draw a shape around it and cut it with a sharp knife.
It's not that difficult, you have time (I doubt it matters if you propose today or tomorrow) so if it seriously fails try again. A little patience and you will get there.
