Hello all, im an art student.
Im currently working on a project in wich i need to create a physical web hit counter, my idea is to connect an arduino with a 10 digit nixie tube display or to a MAX7219, MAX7221 8-Digit, LED Display . something like this: Nixie Tube Web Counter – Dr. Scott M. Baker
I need the counter to be indipendent from pc (maybe use a ethernet shield?)
i also need that the counter reads the number from the web so when i turn off the counter to transport it to another place, once connected again it should continue with the current number displayed on the site at that time.
the problem is i dont really know any code
also can some one please give me a list of materials i need (wich board etc) the cheapest option would be best,
can any one please help me out?
