hM-10 CC2541 BLE MODULE: I2C INTERFACE WITH ARDUINO

Hi all:

Any experience trying to interface the any Arduino board with an HM-10 BLE module (with a cc2541 on board), using the I2C interface protocol?

Do I really need any special hardware/software tools (aka = expensive...) for that or is there any "quick and dirty" (aka = alternative/inexpensive...) solution/s for that purpose?
