Hi, basically I'm building just for fun an home automation system with arduino and a relay. Everything works perfectly but I have to use wire to connect my Arduino to my relay (220 v) and the relay to the lamp bulb.
Now I'm facing this problem, I want to light a lamp bulb from an other room (not so far) but I don't want to use wires, so I thought to connect an other relay but bluetooth to the lamp and with arduino switch the relay on and off via bluetooth. Is this possible? Any suggestion on which relay buy?
Google "remote controlled power sockets".
They have a build-in RF receiver and relay.
Safe.
They also come in 3-packs.
The Arduino can act as the remote control with the addition of a cheap 315Mhz (or 433Mhz) transmitter.
Leo..
