Home screen problem

My home screen has text behind my avatar.
I don't remember it being like this before.
I've already booted the laptop, and it's still the same.
Is there anything I can do to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

Ditto. If you expand the width it's ok, but it would be better if the layout wasn't changed.

It looks like the "discord" (?) pages are changing, even the fullscreen home bar is changing. Search bar is centered, leaving room for long topic titles on the "right"

It's "discourse"

Below used to be on it's own "line".

Same applies for the topic title which is now also next to the below

Thanks for your report @ruilviana. I determined that the problem is related to the "discourse-full-width-component" theme component we have installed. I was able to work around the problem by disabling the component, so the problem should be fixed now.

Unfortunately disabling the component means that the maximum forum page content width has been reduced to the Discourse forum software's default, which is less than what we had when the theme component was active. That theme component was installed according to feedback from the forum members about the default content width being too small and I think everyone has been quite satisfied with the increased width. So disabling the component is only a temporary mitigation for the problem, and the reduced width is only a temporary situation until the problem can be resolved and the component enabled again.

It is :+1: I had to refresh this topic before it took effect.

An update on this. Discourse staff have applied a temporary fix to allow the "discourse-full-width-component" theme component to be re-enabled, and so we are back to the usual maximum page content width.

That fix introduced an issue with the vertical dimension of the top menu component of the header being excessive. So we aren't quite back to the layout we had previously, but I'm sure a complete resolution will come soon.

A permanent fix has now been made, and the top menu height problem I mentioned in my previous reply has also been fixed. So everything should be back to 100% now.
