I'm new to the forum I wish to make a home loudspeaker with arduino so their is a speaker in each room and one with a microphone and then says it through the speaker sort of like the google home feature broadcast.

I have read that a 16MHz microcontroller is not fast enough to produce good sound quality for complex audio like music.
They are OK for producing simple tones however.
What you want to create might be better implemented with a 1GHz plus Raspberry Pi - many people use these to create home media centres and that is more or less what you are wanting to do by the sound of it.
