How can I analog output a given function?

Lets say I have a discrete function e^n. For n=0 to n=100, I can plot it in MATLAB as an array or in any other language.

What if I want to see it on oscilloscope as voltage from Arduino. I mean like a function generator which outputs given samples as voltage consecutavely.

The Arduino can not output an analog voltage. It can output a PWM value that, when passed through a low pass filter, looks a bit like an analog voltage.

For an Uno, you need an external DAC. The Due has one built in. Once you have the DAC it is just a matter of scaling. Obviously, e^n gets very big very fast. You only have a few thousand voltage levels to play with.

Any recommendations for a DAC?
