I am using the Sunfounder R3 board with the "expansion board" for the roll arm and am trying to make the R3 a slave to my other Arduino (Mega 2560) because it has a fingerprint setup wired. The issue is that the expansion board uses all of the pins and I can't figure out which ones to use to receive the input.
Do expect helpers to be experts on that board? Then You might have to wait for replies.
The other alternative is to post the owners manual, datasheet, for that stuff.
Please post a logic diagram showing the big picture. Where is the fingerprint stuff connected? To the Mega?
Your question is about a quite advanced setup but the facts provided does not match that level.
I had to ask other people because the expansion board has no documentation. The fingerprint setup isn't as important as someone able to find something about the "expansion board" that I could not. Yes the fingerprint setup is connected to the Mega and I'm trying to send an output from the mega to the R3 with the expansion board connected.
According to the schematic that comes with the Rollarm software, the expansion board has servo connectors on pins 0 through 13. The arm itself uses four servos connected to pins 4 through 7. That leaves pins 2, 3, and 8 through 13 you could use to connect to your MEGA.
