I don't like to wait for re-loading again and again and again,
to see older postings or the inital posting of a thread.
So how can I adjust my forum-settings that the website shows all postings
even if there should be hundreds of postings?
I really like some of the new interactiveness of the new forum-software like pasting pictures right from the clipboard,
but this just show some postings above and below is really annoying me.

I am sure that you can't
However, you can jump around a long topic, particularly to the start and end by typing # when reading a topic. When prompted to enter the post number to jump to, 0 goes to the first post and 9999 goes to then last post. Assuming, that is, that the topic has less than 10,000 posts in it

but it is not the same as having the thread on one looooong page and then
simply type Strg-F "some specific word" to jump up and down to find a specific post in 3 seconds.
And somehow the creators of the forum-software "managed" it that the postnumbers #12 (or whatever) will not be found by the browsers Strg-f-function. It seems to be graphical.
Since when is fancyness more important in a user-forum about programming than functionality?
I assume that you have tried the forum search box. It allows you to restrict the search to the current topic

The search-options there do not offer limiting to a specific topic.
So you must mean something different I'm not aware of and don't know how to activate it

if you don't go to the "deep dive view" options , you can just tick the [x] box for searching only in this topic
To scroll through the whole thread you must not use the scrollbar of the window, but the scrollbar of the thread:
You can scroll very quickly through the whole thread, even with hundreds of posts.
I don't see this being slow, but I've gigabit fiber at home... this might help.
My goal is to do a single Strg-f "keyword" Enter and POPP! I'm at the first place where "keyword" appears in the whole thread. Regardless if the post is post number #3, #30, #300 or #30000
And then jump from "keyword" to "keyword" regardless if the next one is on post #50, #500, or #50000
and this requires loading the whole and entire thread from the very first to the very last posting.
Now I have to do
1.) Click on search
2.) Move mouse below
3.) click on search this topic
4.) move mouse up
5.) Click into searchfield
6.) enter keyword
7.) Strg-f
8.) enter keyword again
9.) probably have to scroll again in the hits listed
guys I like typing and clicking but only for things where it is non-predictable for the computer
OK, yes this is a lot of clicks.
Note that you can click in the list to go to one of the post and if you click later again in the magnifier area, the search is stil there so you don't have to enter it again.
but indeed, that's clicking around. How often do you need this? I don't do this much so I'm fine with a few clicks.
