I am unable to screw the arduino into the wall and would rather like a non permanent solution (e.g., sticky mounting plate)
Velcro strips with adhesive backing?
Double sided gorilla tape.
Welcome to the forum
Hi, @zach_tolentino
Welcome to the forum.
What is your project and why does it need to be on a wall?
Tom..

Hot glue? usually not too hard to remove (warm up a bit with an hair dryer). Depends on what your wall is made off and the paint job / wallpaper on it too if you want zero risks of leaving a mark.
That may depend on the Arduino.
Which one do you want to use?
If you embed a magnet in the wall 1mm below the wall surface, then upload a sketch that has in the main loop at the beginning a for loop from 0 to 962945 and at the end of the main loop another for loop from 835503 to 0 then the for loops create a magnetic field and cause the board to stick to the embedded magnet.
avez vous songer Ă imprimer en 3D une boite parfaite pour votre montage ?
avec , bien évidement, les trous de fixation ou d'accroche
you would think someone designed a 3D printed solution by now. this is precisely the kind of problem 3D printers are made to solve.
Screw the Arduino to a small board with a clip to hang it. Then remove that picture you do not like and hang it there.
You can use 3M Command Strips, double-sided tape, Velcro strips, or a sticky mounting plate for a non-permanent solution. These options will hold your Arduino securely and can be easily removed without damage.
this does sound like a typical ChatGPT-style text. It’s polite, helpful, and neatly lists options in a neutral, instructional tone. The phrasing “You can use…” followed by a list, and the reassuring “can be easily removed without damage” are both typical of AI-generated assistant responses.
If this is the only thing you have to bring to the forum as your first post may be you should move along… first time posters that seem to be just spitting out AI text are often bots getting ready for spamming later on.
Please confirm your intent, you are being watched.
I am Not a Bot, I am Human, and new on this forum. But English is not mother language, that's why I rewrite that text.
OK - try to add personal value. We can all ask chatGPT so there is no point in just posting that answer.

How do I attach Velcro to a wall by itself?
So that goes onto the wall, but then you need the hook strip too. Gotcha.
You stick the hook side on the wall and the loop side on the board. Do it that way round to prevent the hooks picking up fluff when the board is on the bench
