Hello, I want to transfer data from a minimum of 100km using Arduino and its modules in the form of p2p, that is, without being dependent on anything, using only Arduino modules, if possible, I want to transfer text messages, etc.

I want this process to be internet independent. At first, I thought of using LoRa WAN, but LoRa was not strong enough to perform this operation if the conditions were not perfect.

Excuse me if I brought up the topic in the wrong place, I'm new to the forum and sorry for the bad English.

RF methods using the license free ISM bands, including LoRa will work at 100km (and more) but only if the transmitter and receiver are in line of sight.

Using mobile phones is one way.

As for other methods it depends on the location and environment of which you gave no details.

And whilst you may know what "transfer text messages, etc" means, the forum does not, "etc" could mean anything.

Depends on the internet.

As mentioned, for radio communications you need clear line of sight, unless you are a licensed HAM operator and can use the short wave bands below about 30 MHz.

Indeed.

LoRaWAN != LoRa

Unfortunately for the OP, that requires a personal licensee at each end of the connection. Then there are problems of interference to contend with. There are likely other ham radio people using the OP's chosen frequency.

Sounds interesting, looking forward to see if there any viable methods.

I guess the main problem is that RF frequencies are quite a valuable resource, and tend to be occupied by other users.

This question seems to occur quite frequently, [Long Range Communication more than 100km](https://forum.arduino.cc/t/long-range-communication-more-than-100km/1084513) and there does not seem to be an obvious solution that does not involve a third party network.

I would suggest the reason that there are so many networks is because there is not a simple way to transmit data 100km without some sort network infrastructure, otherwise everyone would be doing it.

I know nothing bout HAM radio, do every country have the same requirements?

Spot on 100%+.

If it were possible and easy, everyone would be doing it and there would be heaps and heaps of projects to be found explaining how.

More or less.

A few exceptions, in the UK your not allowed to use an amateur license for air born transmissions on balloons etc, which is probably the reason why the very first early uses of LoRa for long distance stuff, before even Semtech realized how good it was, took place in the UK.

Also in the UK, not sure about the rest of the World, your not allowed to use the license to broadcast messages, you can only send messages to other licensed users.

At one time you could lease phone lines from your local telephone company and use modems to set up the communications as you propose. Perhaps you can still do that. Something to investigate. However, for that distance the phone company is going to use the internet to connect the two local telephone locations. So that won't work.
Search the web for common carriers that have locations at both ends of your path.

I think I forgot to write some details, sorry I'm new to the forum, what I want is actually this:

Independent of the Internet or other paid wireless connections
It has a coverage area of 100 km
It's completely free
Ability to work with Arduino, modules, electricity (battery)
Due to its geographical location, Türkiye can work from the Etiler region of Istanbul to neighboring cities, that is, an average of 100-150 km, in mountainous, foggy and limited visibility areas.

See post #11. And drop the "completely free" requirement.

They also have wired telephone service, so use that.

Why should I remove "completely free"?

By the way, I did a little more research and found out that I can transmit data between 500-5000 km by reflecting the radio frequency from the ionosphere, but it will be a little slow, I think it can only transfer text data with this method.
