Colray and Chris, I don't have time into pinhole cameras that either of you do.
If the thickness of the material that the pinhole is in matters, have you tried depositing flame soot on a glass slide and making the hole in that? My physics teacher used the soot on a slide trick to make double-slits for the lab groups, but maybe that was only to make scoring the slits easy?
