How do I change the code to do the opposite? (conductive paint)

9 (digital) and 5v (analogue) are on the button side, ground (analogue) is on the other side, nearer the speaker

No he means that pin 9 seems to be defined as both the output for the speaker and the input for the push button. You can't do that!!!

Ok my mistake! Should the speaker be ground then?

You should use DIFFERENT pins for the switch and the speaker.

Ok should I move ground (the side near the speaker) onto a number then and state the number instead of 9 or do I need a new wire completely to join somewhere else?

Look forget the ground, a ground is a ground, just wire up the speaker to a different pin to the switch and reflect that change in your sketch.

AHHH I just moved ground to 13 and changed it on the code and it's now working!!!! Thanks so much for your help guys (especially grumpy mike for putting up with my crap coding)! Really really appreciate it!
