Hello there. I am doing a little project in which I have to use multiple wires in a single 5V port...and I dont know how to do it? Please help. ☹

Can we get a bit more information? What Arduino board? How many wires? Where do the wires go or come from? How much current does each wire need to carry?

Do you have a solderless breadboard?

If you have an Arduino UNO Rev 3, there are two 5v pins on the female power header, and there are two ICSP ports each with male 5v pins; total of four 5v power header pins.

That would be a major part of the problem for a start. 😲

🙄
Anything else still needs a breadboard

So you always **need** a breadboard if you are going to plug anything other than a couple of LEDs into a UNO, unless you can solder with protoboard, or have a "shield" that connects everything for you.

That is the specific limitation of the UNO.
🤨

It's the limitation of all this stuff, a Nano, a ESP-whatever, you name it.
What point are you trying to make?

You need a breadboard **every bit as much** to experiment with a UNO, as with any other form of Arduino.

In case you were implying as it did not appear clear, that you can practically do things with a UNO **without** a breadboard. 🕶

I already asked the guy if he has a blasted breadboard - so that he can have as many sodding 5V points as he likes!

Thank you all.. I used the breadboard method and it worked.
