How do I connect V+ pins on PCA9685?

I have been wondering how I could connect the V+ pins on a PCA9685. Also, would I be able to use a capacitator on the V+ pins?

More detail: What would I connect the V+ pin to? Would I connect it to a battery, or would I connect it to an Arduino?

For common servos, +V terminal (green component) connects to external servo power supply, +5v or +6v.

GND terminal (green component) connects to 0V servo power supply and GND pin of the Arduino.
