How do I dim individual WS2811 LEDS? (SOLVED)

I bought a bunch of 12V WS2811 Strings for Christmas decorating- thanks for all the assistance.

How do I dim individual LEDs? None of there methods do anything:

    leds[ledNum]--;         // Subtract "1" from the brightness of all three (RGB) channels.
    leds[ledNum].fadeLightBy( 5 );
    leds[ledNum].fadeToBlackBy( 64 );
    leds[ledNum].nscale8( 192);
    leds[ledNum] /= 2;        // Divide each channel by 2

Solved, they all work. I forgot to put a FastLED.show(); in the loop.
