How can I download the original mp3 file which an asx file is pointing at?
I have Orbit downloader but it doesn't seem to be able to do it (it just sits at 0%). I'm looking for a way that doesn't involve transcoding.
Shouldn't the mp3 be somewhere on my pc in a temp folder, being that WMP is able to play it? Any help's appreciated.
What's ASX? Google gives me [u]The Australian Securities Exchange[/u] 
Is Orbit supposed to be compatible with ASX? I assume the MP3 is copyrighted and they don't want you to download it, or they'd give you a download link...
If you can play the audio you can record it as it plays with Audacity or TotalRecorder, etc., as it plays. Then, save it as MP3.

If you're downloading and then playing the file, yes, but not if it's streaming audio/video... It's like watching TV... Your TV doesn't save the video.
