How do I implement voltage cut off?

I want to wire a load cell to my analogue in. I need a specific weight range, 499 to 501 grams. The load cell operates from 0 to 750 grams.

How do I map or re scale the output for my specific range to 0 to 5 volts?

In other words, explain the problem.

Since we have no idea of the gain or transfer function of your load cell it is impossible to answer your question.

But if it is linear with 0 V being 0g and 5 V being 750, you have a step of about 7mV per gram. A 2 gram range (499-501) would be a change of 14 mV.

There is no way to make your 2g range 0 to 5 V without external gain and off set. You would have to subtract 3.5 V and multiply by 36,000 if my math is right. This is probably not doable.
