I've been using the parallel port programmer to program my arduino board with the ispprog software. It was working fine until yesterday. Not sure what happened, but I can't read or write to the flash any more. I've got another chip, which works just fine on the same board using the same programmer.
So my question is, is there a easy way I can tell if my chip is really bricked?
i bricked a coule of processors by writing the wrong fuses/lock bits....
try to borrow a real ISP programmer and check with avr studio on windows
until you try with this setup you'll never know .....
Do you know if it is possible to do the diagnostics using an arduino? You know, since friends with real programmers are really hard to come by. Perhaps time to find new "friends"?
Try this Tinker.it - L'unico e solo Pensiero Fisso!
but do the testing using AVR Studio on windows...unfortunately its the only way to be sure...
Ok, cool! I'll give that a try. Thanks for your help.
