I decided to purchase the EAGLE light since I'm gonna make a few bucks on the Phi-1 shield soon. I purchased the light version simply because I'm not crazy rich for the full version. But I found there's no place to enter the S/N code I received after payment.
Can anyone help? Thanks

My main window has "Eagle License..." under the Help tab, but mine is already licensed, so you might have something slightly different there.
Is your EAGLE a standard version or something? I downloaded my version from cadsoft.
With ONLY the "Eagle Control Panel" window open, select "Eagle Licenses" under the Help menu.
James, I tried. There are 4 options, none of which asks for an s/n: use license file, freemium, run as freeware, and cancel. Maybe I'm supposed to run the light version and just keep the S/N somewhere in case cadsoft is sueing my a** for not paying them while making money with my designs in EAGLE. ;D :o
When I click on "use license" I get this window, which allows for entering the installation code / serial number:
It asks for a file, which I don't have, and a code, which I don't know where to find. I recieved an s/n, which is too long and doesn't have 10 consecutive letters to fit the requirement. I tried and it didn't work. I'll call up the 1-800 number to find out. Thanks James.
Call me a dumb James, there is a second page besides the invoice. It details what to do. I'm kicking my butt right now. I'll need a printer as an Xmas present or move my wife's out of her home office.
