How do you fix this?

avrdude.exe: please define PAGEL and BS2 signals in the configuration file for part ATtiny84avrdude.exe: please define PAGEL and BS2 signals in the configuration file for part ATtiny84

To eliminate this error. This happens whenever I program any Tiny with my Arduino ISP.

They are warnings. You have five choices (some options may not work; I have not tested all of them)...

  1. Ignore them (this is the one I do).

  2. Manually edit the avrdude.conf file. Essentially, you copy-and-paste two lines from the section for another processor. There are instructions available somewhere in the forum.

  3. Replace avrdude.conf with a version that corrects the problem.

  4. Use the latest GCC AVR toolset.

  5. Replace avrdude.exe with a version that corrects the bug.

I think I'll continue to view the 'warnings' as a completion message.

I just realized. That's exactly what I do.

It sure is a lot of fun making one of the 'little' ones work...

No doubt! I've been playing with an ATtiny13 (connect to a TLC5916). The thing has 64 bytes of SRAM. In comparison, the ATmega328P is humongous.
