How do you update the Porenta firmware

Hi I'm trying to update the Porenta firmware and I can't find the tools dropdown and I also just generally don't know where it is. can someone help me?

Which Portenta board are you using. There are several boards in that series now, including:

Are you using Arduino IDE or Arduino Cloud?

I saw the turtorial and it also asks for where the tools dropdown is and I'm using a mac so could you please help me with that??

I just figured out that i'm using the web editor if that is the problem sorry for he confusion

For the benefit of others who might have the same question and find this discussion during their researches, I'll add some additional information:

As @zm476 discovered, there is no "Tools" menu in Arduino Web Editor. However, the instructions I linked above mention this menu only as an alternative method of selecting the board and port. The primary method, which is to select it from the drop-down "board selector" menu on the toolbar can be done in Arduino Web Editor in addition to Arduino IDE.

So the Portenta H7 radio module firmware update can be performed by Arduino Web Editor and Arduino IDE users alike.

I installed the actual Arduino IDE and I found it so no worries on that
