How IRFZ44N can be used with arduino to implement pid based temperature control system?
Is it used to change the speed of 12 V fan (Fan which is used to reduce temperature)?? or it cannot change speed of motor of 12 V fan ?
Or it is used to adjust the brightness of 12 V Lamp/bulb that is used to increase temperature?
It can be used in either/both cases.

in case of 12 V Load like a DC fan??
