How long of a Servo Cable is too long

I have to make some of my servo cables longer. Currently its 12 inches long. How long of a run can you do before you lose performance, Powering off usb, Is there any way to gain back any loses, with out switch from using usb.

I need another 12 Inches (Maybe more if I can). Gonna probably use this for wire:
Just because its kicking around. But I think the gauge of 24 might be a bit low. Is stranded better then solid for current? Have some of that too, Same gauge (24).

Not going to go and buy some fancy cable with proper ends, and worry about them disconnecting, getting worn out. Just gonna cut and solder.

Here's my servo:

And my board:

You will not have any issues with short length like that. I have used 22swg (i think) multi strand wire to a servo about 15 foot away with no issues.

You could solder 0.1" headers to one end of the cable to extend it and a 0.1" socket on the other end if that is necessary.

Thnx for reply, good to know I won't have any issues.
