Hi,
This is an image of my Profile Summary page.
It shows the local time as 28-12-2017, 17:56:55.
But its really 28-12-2017, 12:56:55 Eastern Australia Daylight Savings Time
So who's local time is it?
The Today time is correct

Hi,
The "Local Time" is 5 hours ahead, or 6 from non daylight saving.
Non daylight saving we are +10hrs so plus 6hrs = 16hrs ahead of Greenwich.
That puts you over the international dateline, but thats yesterday? ? ? ?
Has Dr Who been playing around with the space time continuum again?
Great Dr Who on Boxing Day too.
Tom....
My "local" time is actually displaying GMT which is several hours ahead of what it should be.
Pete
P.S. But I have my timezone set correctly in settings. The forum seems to be ignoring it.
A lookup on the IPs indicates the servers are virtualised on AWS. The forum server is in Ashburn, Virginia, EST (GMT -5).
This post is showing up as 10.41AM, which is correct for my time zone (GMT).
The local time in my profile is EST.

Thanks for that.
Yes the post time and last active is always right, but the local time, which must be the server is wrong when you look at the date and time.
In the image I posted, the "Local" time is 6 hours head, which places it on the East side of the International Date line, so it must be 27th not the 28th of December 2017.
The 6 hours East of me looks like Alaskan Time.

There is (at least) another server in the arduino.cc virtual web infrastructure, located in Seattle, Washington, PST. If that helps.
If only everyone would use UTC - I love that Silicone Valley couldn't bare to call it GMT
Hi,
This is interesting as well.
Yet the "Quote from" time says 1:15 GMT + 11 (for daylight saving) on 30th Dec
This makes my local time 12:15 daylight saving time ? ? ?
Its still dark out side? ? ?
It cannot be 1:15 GMT on Dec 30th.
It has to be 4:15 - 11 = 17:15 on Dec 29th.
