I have recently bought a GSM unit for my Arduino Mega 2650 to use in a school project. One thing I need to know is how many Input/Output pins this unit uses. Here is a link to the unit in question:
I really need to know this for the paperwork that goes along with my project. I have looked in the description of the Amazon page and have watched multiple videos on YouTube, but, nothing has been said regarding this.
If anyone can figure this out I would be extremely grateful! Also, if anyone can tell me what Pins are being used that would be a lifesaver!
I suspect just D0, D1, +5, Gnd. The others are just passed thru from the Arduino.

I have a SIM908 module, it has 3 other pins that need to be driven high, or low, or pulsed to start the card up. I don't know if this one needs that, or if that is unique for the combined GSM/GPS capability of the 908 module (from dfrobot.com)
This is not a reply but I need help in deciding which GSM is available for my Arduino Uno. I'm a newbie and working on a project that needs GSM. There are many out there and hard to choose.
