How many mega pins needed to use an XBee radio?

Is it possible to connect an Xbee radio up to an Arduino mega just using Rx,Tx,GND and 5V?

If so, would this device be what im after?

I just want to make sure that all I need to run Xbee on my project is a free Rx,Tx,GND and 5v and a basic break board before I go ahead and buy.

I cannot use a full sized shield for my current project.

Thanks for clearing this up for me

Only you know what you are after...

Thanks for clearing the first part up.

In regards the second question about Xbee breakout board choice, im looking to simply connect 2 arduino in a wireless serial link using Xbee.

I would like to use breakout boards to achieve this using just Rx, Tx GND and 5V connection coming from the Megas.

Would the product I linked too in the first post be capable of doing this or is that one exclusively for connecting to PCs? (hence the USB connection on it?) or are those kind of products compatible with both PC connection via USB and arduino connection via Rx Tx GND and 5v pins

Thanks.
