overcome electronic component heat, noise and EVS surge current(fuse) in PCB.
what are different kind of techniques to overcome resolve it in efficient matter please suggest me something for same.
- Heat -- Heat sinks or fans
- Noise -- Sound deadening materials. Potting. Flex mounts.
- EVS -- Capacitors bypassing individual devices and board level. Surge protection. Power conditioning.
If a component is getting hot on a PCB you can help to get rid of it by using heat conducting thermal gel pads.
Place this between the PCB and the metal case. Sometimes if the metal case is too far then you can put a put a dome in the case underneath the component in question so the gap is shorter at that point.
Thermal pads are not cheap but are great for improving heat flow out of a PCB.
If your MOSFETs are getting hot use one with a lower RDSon. Also be sure you are fully enhancing it. If PWM be sure the turn on and turn off are fast.
